In Revelation chapter 10, at what seems to be the height of our anticipation to know what will come from the blowing of the 7th Trumpet, we find the story interrupted by the arrival of a ‘Mighty Angel’. Something major is about to happen and it’s time to stop and listen. A new and different scroll appears which speaks of God’s wrath being poured out on the world and a great persecution of the church. What did this mean for the church of that day? What does it mean for the church today?
