Who hasn’t fallen asleep in church? When the demands of the day, limits of the body and quality of the speaking intersect poorly, drowsiness is predictable. Today Dr. John speaks of Eutychus, who fell asleep during Paul’s sermon. Was the problem Paul’s sermon or Eutychus’ attention span? Dr. John points out that the occasional sermon slumber, or even dry message is worth the benefits of God’s Word spoken and Christian fellowship enjoyed.
