Christmas in the First Testament

Powered by RedCircle

This Christmas, let us take a journey through the First Testament. Traditionally, in order to prepare ourselves for the true meaning of the birth of Jesus, we celebrate a four-week period called Advent. Advent means arrival. It reminds us of how God prepared for the coming of the Son of God. Galatians 4:4 says, “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son…” That is to say, God sent his Son after a long period of preparation. That long period of preparation would help us understand who he is. In truth, the Bible is a book about preparation, and without it, can we truly understand the birth of Jesus Prepare yourself for the preparation of a promise.
