What John the Baptist did makes the role of Abraham, Moses, David, Daniel and Isaiah seem like a small role indeed. For the role of John the Baptist, this greatest of all men, was to usher Jesus onto the public stage. And that was an extremely difficult role to play. But unlike John, who will lead a national revival, Jesus will be called the Son of the Most High.
