The Benefits of Online Bible Teaching in Canada

A laptop that looks like a library.

There are plenty of benefits of online bible teaching in Canada. We’re going to list
some of them for you and then explain why they apply. The biggest benefits are
access, education trends, and reach.

1. Access

Canada is almost 10 million square kilometers, which makes it the second largest
country in the world by geographical area. Yet the population is only about 37
million individuals. That means that Canada is relatively sparsely populated.

While Canada is fairly urbanized, with the majority of population living near the
southern border with the US, there are still plenty of people who don’t live near a
big town.

Online bible teaching makes the bible accessible to these individuals. Unless
you’re totally off the grid, if you have cable or satellite television, then you can
have an internet connection—and you can enjoy the bible.

2. Trending

Online learning is gaining traction everywhere. There’s a big demand for it, and
over two-thirds of Canada’s institutions for higher learning offer at least one
course online.

People want online courses. There’s great convenience to being able to study at
your own pace and/or in the comfort of your own home.

3. Reach

There is always a percentage of individuals who are more likely to take a course if
they can do it without having to go somewhere to learn. It’s possible to have a
much bigger spread and audience for your message if you make it as easy as
possible to participate, and that includes making bible teaching available online.

Back the Bible Canada loves the multi-media approach to learning. We think it
makes learning the bible fun and fresh.

Established in 1957, Back to the Bible Canada is a non-denominational bible-
teaching ministry dedicated to connecting people to God using a multi-media
approach. Back to the Bible Canada is based in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
