History of Back to the Bible Canada
Established in 1957, Back to the Bible Canada is the non-denominational Bible teaching ministry of The Good News Broadcasting Association of Canada (GNBAC), featuring well-loved and respected Bible Teacher, Dr. John Neufeld. Dr. John continues a legacy of expositional Bible teaching pioneered by Back to the Bible Canada’s founder Theodore Epp who said:
“God has given believers the responsibility of spreading the Gospel to all the world, and we need to use all at our disposal to accomplish the task.”
Back to the Bible Canada continues to grow a nationwide presence on radio, and as new opportunities to engage more people emerge, has also grown a significant multimedia, audio, video ministry so that people everywhere can find excellent Bible teaching, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Inspired by the passion of our founder, we stay committed to engaging every innovative technology that will effectively communicate the life changing truths of the Gospel. Back to the Bible Canada offers, Bible teaching you can trust.
We seek to honour God, value people, champion the Bible, advance ministry, and promote and practice stewardship in fulfilling our mission.
Back to the Bible Canada Today
Using a multi media approach to ministry, we are absolutely committed to faithfully and creatively teaching the truth of God’s Word, in such a way that engages those searching for God, while also empowering the spiritual growth and maturity of believers. Located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Back to the Bible Canada broadcasts coast to coast, airing over 1,200 programs weekly. We are also committed to the extensive use of innovative online, email and mobile technology to reach as many listeners as possible in Canada and around the globe.
A generation ago, most Canadians had at least some knowledge of the Bible, but with the increase in the secularization of society over the past three decades, biblical illiteracy is rising. This is why the ministry of Back to the Bible Canada is more important than ever before.
